The unique, rich and diverse performances and workshops by Elevate, reach church, school and theatre communities with a powerful message of hope.
Whether you are looking for performance experience, rigorous dance training, a gap year or simply a year to grow with like-minded people, this course is for you.
It has proven to be more than I could possibly have imagined and I am overwhelmed daily by what a privilege it is to dance, pray and grow as part of the company.
Elevate is a wonderful experience. I have been pushed to step out of my comfort zone, as well as growing personally, artistically and spiritually. We have been challenged and encouraged. Each moment will be engraved in my mind.
In order to apply, you need to fill in our online application form. We will then be in touch to invite you to an audition at our studio in South East London. The audition will take the form of a contemporary technique class, a short improvisation task, a solo and an interview.
On successful completion of the course, you will receive a detailed report and a certificate. You will have accomplished an intensive dance training and the experience of having performed and taught to a broad spectrum of the community. You may also have gained experience of the technical aspects of touring a performance including a basic understanding of the sound and lighting used. We are not currently accredited with a university. Our course is quite unique and doesn’t easily fit into boxes!
